Priorities for 2026-27 

Safety and Quality Standard 

  • Achieve 100% of our properties with a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) by November 2026
  • Deliver our stock condition survey programme across 100% of our homes within a five-year period 
  • Further improve communication around performance and compliance to enhance scrutiny
  • Deliver compliance training for our colleagues, senior managers and Landlord Panel members

Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard

  • Continue to refresh our demographic data to deepen our understanding of our tenants and help provide inclusive services
  • Deliver our communications plan to promote key aspects of the service, the need for access into homes, available support, challenge negative social housing stereotypes and encourage tenant involvement
  • Introduce a new Compensation Policy to support complaint handling in a fair and transparent manner
  • Continue to strengthen our tenant engagement work across the service

Neighbourhood and Community Standard

  • Prepare for Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) reaccreditation
  • Continue to further improve prevention and management of anti-social behaviour
  • Reviewing existing information about the services we provide, ahead of producing a revised suite of documents

Tenancy Standard

  • Develop a new Mutual Exchange Policy and a new Decant Policy
  • Implement the new Lettings Policy when the required IT system is available
  • Refresh our Tenancy Agreement
  • Strengthen our partnerships with Registered Providers within the Homefinder Service 

Competence and Conduct Standard 

  • Introduce a Competence and Conduct Policy, to formalise our commitment to professional standards
  • Roll out innovative ‘Making a Difference’ training for all colleagues, to demonstrate the impact of behaviours on tenant experience
  • Review our procurement process to ensure contractors provide evidence of their compliance with the Regulatory Standards where appropriate
  • Introduce a structured induction and training programme for tenant panel members
