Twelve community projects have received a total of over £11,500 in small grants to celebrate the 800th anniversary of North Shields in creative, inclusive and inspiring ways.
The people of Wallsend have been working with mural and graffiti artist Mark One87 to create a stunning bespoke artwork in their town’s Metro underpass.
