Asbestos management
Objective
To prevent exposure to asbestos fibres and ensure safe management of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
Arrangements
- Maintain a live Asbestos Register for all relevant properties.
- Undertake Management Surveys in communal areas.
- Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys prior to intrusive works.
- Re-inspections of asbestos contained materials annually.
- Licensed contractors used for removal works.
- Licensed contractors used for analytical works
- Asbestos information shared with contractors prior to works.
- Asbestos surveys to be shared with tenants upon occupancy
