Rent, arrears and charges
Tenants remain responsible for and must pay rent and other charges up to the date of the exchange.
- Rent arrears do not transfer between tenants.
- Credits remain with the outgoing tenant.
Incoming tenants are responsible for:
- Rent at the applicable rate.
- Council tax.
Utilities and any service charges.
