Assistance in claiming

6.1       Applicants can request assistance with the completion of the form from Customer Services. Assisted claim appointment ca be made by telephoning the appointment booking line on 03452000106, through our on-line BSL interpreter (please see our contact page for details) or by booking an appointment at any Community Hub reception. 

6.2      In most cases the person who makes a claim to the Exceptional Hardship Fund will be the person who requires it and who is entitled to Council Tax Reduction. However, a claim can be accepted from someone acting on another’s behalf, such as an appointee, if it is considered reasonable.
