  • Since our baseline year of 2010/11, the carbon emissions of North Tyneside Council have reduced by 65%
  • The sources of these emissions are Heating 36%, Electricity 35%, Fleet 21%, Transmission and distribution losses 4%, Staff business travel 3%, and water 1%. 

Borough of North Tyneside

  • The carbon emissions from the whole Borough have decreased by 49% since 2005
  • The sources of these emissions are Domestic 32%, Transport 33%, Commercial businesses 11%, Industry 11%, the Public Sector 3% and Agriculture 0.6%.
