North Tyneside Living

Services for North Tyneside Living Housing for Older People 

North Tyneside Living accommodation offers you independent living with some extra security which includes:

 

Housing Officer role and presence with our accommodation

A Housing Officer who manages the accommodation will be available Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm

On occasions where they are not available, another member of the North Tyneside Living Team will be available.   Notice boards within in each scheme displays Useful Contact Numbers

Housing Officers will have an office in the scheme or recreation room of group dwellings

Housing Officers wear a uniform so they are easily recognised

 

Support options available

The option of a morning call from your Housing Officer

The option of care call which gives 24-hour access to support in emergencies

Develop a health and wellbeing needs assessment with you

Provide a safe and secure place to live

To make sure you to have a direct say in the way that your home and services are managed

To provide a safe and secure environment for you to live independently by providing staff trained to identify and reduce elements of risk

To invite the community to take part in activities in the scheme
