Dealing with anti-social behaviour

High risk:

E.g. hate crime, threats of violence or assault, intimidation/harassment, domestic abuse, all criminality linked to the address, supplying drugs or drug production. 

 

Response time:

Contact the complaint the same day and commence our investigation within 1 working day of acquiring the relevant information from the complainant. 

Medium risk:

E.g  noise nuisance, drug use, verbal abuse, alcohol related nuisance, youth disorder. 

Response time:

Contact the complainant within one working day and commence our investigation within 3 working days of acquiring the relevant information from the complainant. 

Other:

E.g vehicle nuisance, parking disputes, animal nuisance (dog barking/fouling), litter and Fly tipping, garden nuisance and misuse of communal areas. 

Response time:

Contact the complainant within one working day and address the issue within 5 working days of acquiring the relevant information from the complainant. 

Agree an action plan with you when you report anti-social behaviour to us. This will describe what the issue is, when/where it is occurring and the agreed plan of action.  Including how we will keep you informed of progress. 

 

Support you and other witnesses throughout the course of an investigation, including support at court
