Delegation of authority
The Authority’s responsible Officer, as set out in The Authority’s Scheme of Delegation will authorise officers in writing, specifying the limits of their authorisation. Persons other than employees of the Authority may also be authorised, where it is legally permissible to do so, and the responsible officer considers that The Authority’s objectives, policies and procedures will be applied.
