Quality assurance

As part of the HAF grant requirements, each provider receives a Quality Assurance (QA) visit at least once per year. These visits enable the HAF team to observe delivery first-hand an ensures that all provisions meet the high standards expected.

The QA process assesses a range of key areas, including Health and Safety compliance, inclusion and accessibility, quality and nutritional value of food provision and educational and developmental elements of activities

Providers are evaluated using a structured scoring system. These visits not only provide assurance of quality but also offer valuable opportunities to share good practice across the network and peer support.
