Our libraries and Community Hubs, as well as many community and voluntary sector organisations, are extending their support to residents by offering a comfortable space to relax. For those who wish to get involved, free activities and hot drinks will be also offered. Please note, this is not means-tested and is available for all residents.

Providing home cooked pies, quiches, soups, scones, sandwiches. We also provide signposting to other welfare services for people who may need it.
The Watch House provides hot food, drinks and snacks for people who are socially isolated; activities for children and families in school holidays, including drinks and snacks to address holiday hunger; activities for women, including wild swimmers, pre-natal, baby and post-natal yoga; and dolphin watch events focus on engaging children with local flora and fauna, marine life and environmental issues including beach cleans.

As well as providing a warm space, guests are welcomed with hot drinks, biscuits and homemade cakes. Whilst a lot of conversation goes ahead, we do provide opportunities to join in board games such as dominoes, chess and chinese checkers. We have packs of cards and large print puzzle books, others venture into doing a board game. We also have some expertise in craft activities that can be pulled into the sessions.
