Alan Shearer Activity Centre

A highly specialised recreational, sensory and social resource including its own hydrotherapy pool and outdoor play area. Its free membership gives access to all facilities free of charge.

Gosforth Civic Theatre

Each week at Gosforth Civic Theatre, young people can get stuck into activities and build their confidence - from contemporary dance and drama with Famous 4.15 to playing games at GCT Gaming Social. It’s a chance to learn new skills, have fun, and be part of a welcoming community.

Smile Through Sport

The Wave Project

Registered national charity, The Wave Project supports young people’s mental health through Surf Therapy
and Adaptive Surfing for those with disabilities.

Twisting Ducks - fresh night club

Fresh is an inclusive club night run by DJs with a learning disability and autistic DJs since 1998. It’s a welcoming, supportive night out for adults with a learning disability, autistic people, and their friends, families and carers.
