Make a claim for Council Tax Reduction
There is no automatic entitlement to either of our Council Tax schemes, so you must complete the form below to make a claim.
However, you will not need to complete the form if:
- You are claiming Pension Credit and have asked to claim Council Tax Reduction as well. The information used for your Pension Credit claim will be passed to us automatically.
- You claim Universal Credit (UC) and have told the Department for Work and Pensions that you want to claim Council Tax Reduction. The DWP will then send us your UC details so we can assess your claim.
You must still provide any information or evidence we request to support your claim. If you do not provide this, your claim may be delayed, or you may lose entitlement.
