How we work out your council tax reduction entitlement
We will grant you up to 100% of your council tax liability, if you are receiving:
- Pension Credit Guarantee, or
- Your income is below your Applicable Amount and
- You have no non-dependants.
You will be entitled to 100% of your council tax liability for the current year.
If you don’t get Pension Credit Guarantee and your income is above your Applicable Amount, (the amount the government think you can live on) we will take 20p off the 100% entitlement for every £1 of your income that is over your Applicable Amount.
