Grant agreement

Childcare providers must sign a Grant Agreement with the council before they can offer free childcare places.

  • If a provider’s funding is stopped but they meet the quality standards or are waiting for their first Ofsted visit, they can make a complaint. See the document below for how to do this.
  • If there’s a problem or disagreement (not about the council stopping or holding back money), the provider should email: EYcommissioning@northtyneside.gov.uk as soon as possible.
