Fleas
For private properties there is a charge of £40 including VAT for treating fleas
For council tenants the charge is part of the rent.
We carry out treatments for fleas within the property. We will spray the infected area(s) with water based residual insecticide.
Before a booking can be made, you must have a sample of the pest. The easiest way to do this is to place a small bowl of water in the affected area. There must be fleas in the water before a booking can be arranged. This is important so we use the correct treatment for the pest.
Before our visit:
- Treat your pets for fleas
- Vacuum all floors and upholstered furniture. Pay attention to borders and skirting boards. Dispose of vacuum contents in the outside bin
- Move furniture away from the walls (if possible)
- Remove any aquatic or reptile life from the infected room
After the treatment do not vacuum for at least two weeks.
