Student voters

If you have both a home address and term time address in different local authority areas and both are holding elections, you may be able to vote both areas.

You should update your voter registration every time you change address.

You may need to make postal or proxy vote application for one or both areas. A proxy is where another registered elector you trust votes on your behalf, usually at your polling station. More details can be found on the Electoral Commission website.

The National Union of Students also publishes voting information.
