A breakout room where children can have some quiet time with a reading corner and festive arts and crafts and a daily festive film (children will be given a choice in the afternoon to do more sports or watch a film).

Don’t be bored during the Christmas holidays! North Tyneside Disability Forum will have lots of activities including arts and craft, pool, basketball, dance and movement, Boccia and new ages kurling, games and more. This is a group for young people to come independently, gain confidence and build self esteem with their peers. A pre visit is essential for new members.

Ages 4-18

Sports, games, arts and crafts, fire play, environmental activities, cooking, animal petting, construction, skating and opportunities for young people to do voluntary work. Not all activities are available each day so for more detail please get in touch. Please note any child under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. These sessions run alongside open-access play provision, meaning we cannot offer one-on-one support for children with additional needs. If you feel your child is confident enough to attend without an adult, we advise a discussion with the playworker to establish if the session would be suitable.
