Access Coaching 

A multi sports camp including more traditional sports such as, dodgeball, handball, cricket, and basketball as well as some non-traditional sports including archery, fencing, tchoukball and rock-it-ball. Those attending the football camp will have football focussed activities including small-sided games.

North Tyneside Disability Forum

Lots of activities including football and basketball, art and craft, Boccia and new age curling, music and dance, singing, samba drums and ukuleles, pool and board games. Pop along to meet friends or make new ones, build up your confidence and self-esteem.

Shiremoor Adventure Playground

A wide range of freely chosen activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, fire play, environmental activities, cooking, animal petting, construction, skating and opportunities for young people to do voluntary work. Please note any child under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. These sessions run alongside open-access play provision, meaning we cannot offer one-on-one support for children with additional needs. If you feel your child is confident enough to attend without an adult, we advise a discussion with the playworker to establish if the session would be suitable. 

  • Tuesday 17th - Bracelet making
  • Wednesday 18th – Fire play / pizza making / arts and crafts
  • Thursday 19th - Fruit kebabs / arts and crafts
  • Friday 20th - Pancake making / indoor games
  • Saturday 21st - Sandcastle competition / arts and crafts

Whitley Bay Food and Nutrition

A two-day event celebrating the best of British Winter Warmers. We will open doors at 10am for an optional hearty breakfast. Cooking activities will begin at 10.30am. Learn how to prepare, cook and serve a range of savoury winter dishes, using a range of meats and vegetables. Lunchtime will include the 'The Will Challenge' with some light exercise activities. The afternoon will follow the theme of the 'Bake off' preparing, making and serving delicious, sweet treats to take home and share with the family.
