NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 27 April 2026.
Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the North Tyneside Council hereby order the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the streets during the time of a public event:-
WHITLEY BAY CARNIVAL SATURDAY 23 May 2026
To facilitate the above event a rolling road closure will be in place along Station Road, Whitley Road from the station Road junction to Park View to Marine Avenue and across to the Links on Saturday 23 May 2026 from the hours 10:30 until 12:30 for a Carnival Parade.
There is no alternative route for this rolling closure.
The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.
