NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 10 February 2026.
Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the North Tyneside Council hereby order that the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the streets during the time of a public event.
The following closures will take place on the following roads:
- High Street East between Park Road and Station Road between the hours of 5am – 7pm on Saturday 4 July 2026.
- Coronation Street Car Park between Friday 3 July 2026 from 5pm through to 9pm on Saturday 4 July 2026.
The closure is necessary to facilitate and reduce disruption likely to be caused by the Wallsend Festival. There is no alternative route for this closure.
The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.
