North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on a section of an unrecorded public path leading from Whitley Bay mini golf to Whitley Bay beach.
The proposed temporary Order is required in the interest of public safety due to unsafe access and will come into force on 6 April 2026 for a period not exceeding 6 months.
