North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Emergency Order will be to prohibit all prohibits all through traffic on Shakespeare Street Lane.
The Emergency Order is required due to unforeseen issues arising on site, which if the lane is re-opened could pose a danger to the general public and will come into force on 19 September 2026 lasting until 23 September 2026.
