THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made Variations Orders under Sections 32, 35, 82, 83, 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order which will come into force on 23 March 2026, will be to make:
A. Amendment to the Council of the Borough of North Tyneside (Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2025:

Parking Places – Off Street Car Parks – A charged parking tariff on all days 9am to 6pm, be amended so that they apply to the following extent:
a. Park Road Car Park, Whitley Bay – situated on the east side of Park Road opposite Coquet Avenue.
Further details of the proposals may be examined in the documents available on the Council’s website www.northtyneside.gov.uk (Statutory Notices). If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions contained within it on the grounds that it is not made under the correct sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 23 March 2026, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
