NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 19 February 2026.
Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, North Tyneside Council hereby order that during the times stated below the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the following streets during the holding of a Street event.
The temporary closure will take place on Langley Avenue, Whitley Bay, during the hours of 14:00 and 17:00 (except 14:00 – 19:00 on 3 May 2026) between 6 Langley Avenue and 28 Langley Avenue on the following Sundays:

7 June 5 July 2 August
6 September 4 October
During the closure, traffic should use the adjacent local road network.
Pedestrian access will remain. The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.
