North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Kenilworth Lane from the rear of number 1 to the rear of number 95. Works to be completed in sections so the full length of the lane will not be closed.
The proposed temporary Order is required to replace a lead water main.
The Order will come into force on 13th April 2026 for a period not exceeding 15 days.
