Hazards and rules
- Beware of rip currents
- Beware of the rising tide
- Beware of large breaking waves
- Beware of surfers and other surf craft users
- Do not kite surf
- Do not launch motorised watercraft or jet skis
- Do not use inflatables when wind is blowing out to sea
- Children must be supervised especially near the water
- Only swim in lifeguard supervised area between the red and yellow flags
- Do not swim when red flags are flying
- Adhere to surf board and water craft zone between the black and white chequered flags
Lifeguard service
- May to September: 10am - 6pm
Dog access
- Dogs are not permitted on the south end of this beach between 1 May - 30 September
- Dogs are permitted on the northern end of this beach year-round
- Please see signage for dog ban area
Beach code of conduct
- Please don't take glass bottles onto the beach
- Please take litter home, recycle it or put it in the bins provided
- Take dogs only to permitted areas of the beach; keep them under close control; clean up and dispose of mess in the bins provided
- Bag and bin sanitary items, nappies and plastic products; do not dispose of them down the toilet
- Camping is not permitted
- Driving of unauthorised vehicles is not permitted
- Please only launch and retrieve motorised leisure craft in the permitted launch zones on appropriate beaches
