Care Call helps 3,500 residents stay safe and independent in their own homes, while giving peace of mind to families and loved ones.
With support available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, help is always just a button press away.
Since November, the dedicated team have responded to more than 80,000 calls and alarm services.
Using simple technology such as wearable pendants and automatic fall detectors, Care Call connects people directly to a response centre. When an alarm is raised, trained staff quickly assess the situation and arrange the right support, whether that is contacting a family member or sending a Crisis Response Officer to help at home.
By responding quickly, Care Call can often prevent unnecessary trips to hospital, helping people recover safely at home and freeing up vital NHS services for those who need them most. Most importantly, it allows people to remain in familiar surroundings for as long as they choose.
The service is highly valued by both users and their families for the reassurance it provides every day.
It also offers a rewarding career, with staff making a real difference by supporting residents at some of the moments they need it most.
You can find out more about the service, including costs and how to sign up, on the My Care website.
