All of the sessions at Best Start Family Hubs have a focus on communication and language, physical development and personal social and emotional development.
- Brilliant Babies is for 0-12 months and is aimed at the specific developmental stages in the first year of life
- Stay, Play and Learn is for 0-5 years (so parents can attend with siblings), these sessions feature more craft activities

- 9.30-10.30am: Brilliant Babies at Howdon Best Start Family Hub
- 9.30–11am: Stay, Play and Learn at Riverside Best Start Family Hub
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Howdon Best Start Family Hub
Tuesday
- 9.30-10.30am: Brilliant Babies at Shiremoor Best Start Family Hub
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Howdon Best Start Family Hub
Wednesday
- 9.30-11am: Stay, Play and Learn at Hadrian Park Primary School
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Riverside Best Start Family Hub
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Whitley Bay Community Hub and Library
Thursday
- 9.30-10.30am: Brilliant Babies at Riverside Best Start Family Hub
- 10-11.30am: Stay, Play and Learn at Forest Hall Library
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Shiremoor Best Start Family Hub
Friday
- 1.30-3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Shiremoor Best Start Family Hub
- 1.30–3pm: Stay, Play and Learn at Wallsend Community Hub and Library
