Introduction
Adult Social Care provides funding through a small grants scheme.
The scheme supports charities and voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations which are aligned to the three core aims of our Adult Social Care Strategy: empowering people; effective and efficient services; and support and safeguarding. The grants scheme supports applications which have a strong emphasis on prevention, maintaining independence, timely and personalised support, and high-quality care that promotes wellbeing, safety and choice.
This approach provides a more flexible and proportionate alternative to formal procurement.
