- How many dwellings have been granted planning permission beyond 6km of the coast?
- How many new tourist accommodation units have been granted planning permission within 6km of the coast?
- How many new tourist accommodation units have been granted planning permission beyond 6km of the coast?
- Of the above how many applicants made contributions to the Coastal Mitigation Service as a planning condition?
- What is the total revenue collected by North Tyneside Council in the form of developer coastal mitigation contributions?
- What is the total amount spent on The Coastal Mitigation Service by North Tyneside Council to date?
Response:
1. 154 applications have been submitted for new dwellings within 6km of the coast since the adoption of the SPD granting permission for 1339 dwellings.
2. 79 applications have been submitted for new dwellings beyond 6km of the coast since the adoption of the SPD granting permission for 1918 dwellings.
3. 4 planning applications have been submitted for new tourist accommodation within 6km of the coast creating 115 bed spaces.
4. 3 planning applications have been submitted for new tourist accommodation beyond 6km of the coast creating 16 bed spaces.
