Please provide the most recent school-age population data and catchment-area modelling used by North Tyneside Council for schools within the North East Planning Area (NEPA).
This should include:
- The number of pupils in each year group (Reception to Year 4) by catchment;
- The modelling methodology or data sources used to produce these figures; and
- Any internal reports explaining how catchment projections are updated.
- Please include materials held by Education Place Planning, Data & Insight, and Children’s Services (Julie Firth).

The modelling methodology or data sources used to produce these figures; - This data was taken from the Education Management System used to record all school pupil registration data.
The pupil projection modelling information and the explanatory notes or summaries showing the forecasting model used and which variables your forecasting is exempt in answer to this request under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, information accessible to the applicant by other means.
The reason for this is that this information is the Pupil projection modelling spreadsheet is available in FOI 6852.
