Prevent eLearning
Understanding the vulnerabilities of those at risk and knowing what to do to help safeguard them, is a key element of Prevent awareness and safeguarding those at risk of radicalisation. The Home Office has developed online training packages to help people understand:
- the Prevent duty
- different forms of extremism and terrorism
- the risk around radicalisation and your supportive role
- making a Prevent referral that is both informed and made with good intention
- the interventions and support available
The Community Safety team and Prevent can also assist in localised training and or signpost, schools, businesses and individuals to the most suitable training materials to support learning.
