Think Twice

bookletNorth Tyneside Consumer Support Network has produced a booklet called Think Twice tailored to meet the consumer advice and safety needs of the area's senior citizens.

The booklet contains practical information on what to do if you purchase faulty goods or receive a poor service from a trader. The booklet also gives information on how to deal with doorstep callers.

There is also advice on choosing a reliable tradesman and information on purchasing mobility goods.

Information is also provided on how to reduce unwanted junk mail and telephone sales calls. Also included are contact details for local advice organisations that may be of assistance if you have a consumer problem.

North Tyneside Consumer Network comprises Trading Standards, Age Concern North Tyneside, North Tyneside Citizens Advice Bureau and Northumbria Police.
