Grants are given to children and young people under the age of 18 in Tyne, Wear and Northumberland, who are struggling to continue to pay for tuition fees or are wanting to purchase their first instrument. They must be able to demonstrate commitment and have the support of their music teacher or school. Priority will be given to applicants whose family income is less than £30,000 per annum. Groups can also apply to the fund, if they are assisting children to access music opportunities. Cheques should be made payable to a third party.
