The LDS sets out the programme for preparation of nine Local Development Documents (LDD), to view information on these documents please view the Associated Documents page:

LDD7 Fish Quay/ New Quay Conservation Area Management Strategy SPD

Annual Monitoring Report

The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires every local planning authority to produce an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) for submission to the Secretary of State each year.

This should contain information on the implementation of the Local Development Scheme (LDS) and the extent to which the Policies set out in Local Development Documents (LDD's) are being achieved.

Five Year Housing Land Supply Assessment

As part of the Government's policies to bring more housing land forward for development the Council is required to maintain an adequate supply of housing land. As part of this the Council has to assess annually how much housing land is available and suitable for development and which is reasonably likely to be built in the next five years. The following report sets out the position in the Borough as at the 31st march 2007 and demonstrates that there was a five year supply at that time. The report will be next reviewed in summer 2008.
