The Council encourages you to submit your planning application on-line either via Public Access on these web pages or via the planning portal but alternatively you can download the Council’s 1APP forms below and email your application to us at: development.control@northtyneside.gov.uk or return your application to us by post.
1APP planning application forms and related guidance
1APP planning application forms and related guidance, for a variety of applications, can be downloaded from the following section. Whether completed on-line or on paper, the use of the 1APP forms will be mandatory, across England, from April 2008.
1APP includes a number of combined forms which you can use to reduce the number of forms you need to complete and these are also included below. Where the forms relate to a combined application, your application will continue to be handled as separate consent applications.
Please make sure you have checked our validation checklist before submitting your application. If you do not send all the information we need your application will be deemed invalid.

Additional forms which may be required
If you do not own the site, or your foundations will encroach onto land you do not own, you must complete Certificate B of the application form and also complete the following form which should then be given to the owner of the application site to inform them of your application.
