Welcome to the Mouth of the Tyne Festival

WelcomeWelcome to the sixth annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival.

The event has grown into one of the region’s favourite summer festivals, attracting thousands of people from the local area and beyond.

Featuring two days of world-class street theatre, live music and special one-off performances in Tynemouth and South Shields, the Mouth of the Tyne Festival promises to be a wonderful weekend. The festival takes place within the spectacular setting of our wonderful coastal areas. We would encourage you to make the most of all of the entertainment on offer and soak up the atmosphere on both sides of the River Tyne.

With so much going on over the two days, we hope the whole family will be kept entertained, and we wish you all a safe and enjoyable time!
