Top acts announced for the 2012 Mouth of the Tyne Festival
The Mouth of the Tyne Festival will return this year with its eighth annual festival, featuring four days of live music and attracting thousands of people from the local area and beyond.

Two of Britain’s biggest pop bands will play special outdoor evening shows in the stunning setting of Tynemouth Priory and Castle, on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 July.
The ever popular Sunday afternoon concert will also take place in Tynemouth Priory and Castle and will feature five acts in just one afternoon, on Sunday 15 July.
The Playhouse Whitley Bay will kick-start the four-day festival with 2 fantastic acts performing on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 July.
