Licences & Street Trading
An Introduction
The North Tyneside Council Licensing Team are responsible for issuing a range of licences across the borough. We are responsible for the issue and renewing of licences, permits and registration and then the monitoring and inspection of the areas once licensed to ensure compliance with legislation.
The Licensing Section deal with Liquor, Gambling and Taxi Licensing as well as miscellaneous licensing and permits including the Registration of Scrap Metal Dealers and Motor Salvage Operators as well as Street and House to House Collections and Small Society Lottery Registrations.
