Housing is at the centre of North Tyneside’s social policy. Our objective is to offer everyone the opportunity of a decent home, and, in so doing, to promote inclusiveness and well being.

This report contains a summary of the results from an assessment of housing needs and market conditions conducted by DCA on behalf of North Tyneside Council. It was formally commissioned in August 2005. The purpose of the study was to examine the housing requirements (needs, aspirations and demands) for the communities and households of the Borough.
