Why is North Tyneside Council asking me for this personal information?
Our tenants are all different. This means that some have needs that make it more difficult for them to:
- live in their home
- talk to us or read letters we may send
- use our services like telephoning one of our offices
- or even get to the door when we call to do a repair
We are asking all of our tenants for this information because it can help us plan and improve our services. We also want to check that our services do not treat customers unfairly because of:
- Age
- Gender
- Disability or impairment
- Ethnicity
- Religion or belief
- Sexual orientation
The information will be protected by the Data Protection Act 1998.
How will we use this information?
Our staff will use this information to provide you with a service that meets your needs, whenever we can.
Any information that you give us will only be used by us, and where appropriate, our contractors. It will allow us to provide high quality services tailored to your specific need. We will not share this information with anyone else.
