School crossing patrols
There are over 100 school crossing patrol sites across North Tyneside, and we currently have 79 of them filled.
School Crossing Patrols (or Lollipop People) provide a vital road safety service, which helps to ensure that children and other pedestrians travelling to and from school, can cross busy roads safely.
The School Crossing Patrol service is managed by the council's Road Safety Team. If you would like further information on any aspect of this service please telephone: 0191 6432130
