To make an appointment to register a birth or death, you should contact us on (0191) 200 6164 (ext 221). We will advise you on what information we will need from you. Brief details are set out in the sections registering a birth or registering a death. You can also obtain information about the coroner.
We conduct civil marriages and civil partnerships in the North Tyneside area. These can be held at the register office or at licensed venues within North Tyneside and further information can be obtained from (0191) 200 6164 (ext 224) .
