Corporate property
Corporate Property is a professional multi disciplined team committed to achieving best value from the Council's property assets and regeneration activities, excluding Council housing (see link for matters regarding Housing).
The team undertakes and assists with all property related activities required in connection with the delivery of the Council Plan and Sustainable Community Strategy objectives;
- Maintaining the Council's land and property records
- Buying and selling land and property on behalf of the Council
- Managing the Council's commercial property portfolio
- Undertaking and certifying land and property valuations for all purposes on behalf of the Council
- Undertaking and assisting with regeneration projects
- Ensuring implementation of the Council's Asset Management plan
