Streetwork mapping explained
As part of the Council's Network Management duty to reduce congestion on our road network, we have recently invested in a new mapping system that will enable everyone who lives, works and travels within the area to pre-plan their travel routes and avoid delays as a result of road works.
The new online mapping system to provide an interactive display of current and planned works on the roads throughout the borough.
The system is user-friendly and enables the public to access up-to-date information by street name, postcode and dates or by click and dragging over the Google map screen.
