Moving house?
If you move address during the year you can fill in a rolling registration form.
This form will tell us that you have moved and we will remove your name from your old address (or contact your previous council and ask them to do this) and include it at your new address.
It is not a legal requirement to complete a rolling registration form but is a good idea as this will:
- make sure that election materials such as poll cards and postal votes can be sent to the correct address
- enable credit companies to keep your credit records up to date
- The details provided on a rolling registration form will usually be included in the Register of Electors in the following month from which it is received.
A rolling registration form can be dowloaded by clicking on the link under Related documents. Please print this off, add your details then sign and return it to us via fax or post.
The Register of Electors is generally published on 1 December each year. The 2010 Register of Electors was published on 1 December 2009 and remains in force until 30 November 2010.
